1. Adopt prudent behavior

Electric scooter users must adopt prudent behavior, both for theirsecuritythan for that of others, especially pedestrians. Before purchasing an electric scooter, you should know more about the regulations in place.

Since October 23, 2019, electric scooters are considered land motor vehicles. They must therefore comply with the highway code and comply with current regulations.

1. Maximum speed

6. Using your EDPM

7. Headphones and electronic devices

As in a car, earphones, headphones, and hands-free kits are strictly prohibited on electric scooters. 8. Recommended equipment

- EDP driving at more than 25 km/h: €1,500 fine.

- Failure to comply with mandatory equipment: fine of €11 to €17.
